San Pedro River at Charleston (09471000), May 4, 1954

C.A.B., #4251
The gaging station at Charleston is one of the oldest in Arizona,
but the gage has been moved from a short, bedrock-constrained reach downstream
from Charleston to its current site at the bridge. In 1954, this site had
the cableway for discharge measurements and is a quarter mile downstream from
the current station. The view is to the east, and the river flows from right
to left. The trees along the far bank are cottonwoods.
