Aching Shoulder Slope: Nail and Washers in Channel - Erosion and Deposition

Data Files:

Station location is referred to 16 + 00 at the watershed divide and 0 + 00 at the lower cross-section. For example, 3 + 00 means 300 feet upstream from the lower cross-section.

LB means left bank, facing downstream. LB BM is the left-bank bench mark, or reference point. The term "bench mark (BM)" refers to a 4-foot steel rod, 1/2 inch diameter, driven into the ground and protruding about 6 inches. RB BM is the right-bank bench mark. CL indicates center of channel.

Erosion values, in feet, are measured from nail-washer (n/w) pins driven into the ground.
