Located in SE 1/4 Sec. 23, T-10-S, R-8-W, Panola County, Miss., on Long Creek (called Peters Creek on Crowder topographic quadrangle map).
On land of Willie and Mack Benson on north side, H.L. Hubbard on south side of creek.
Right pipe was found without cap, and no elevation shown on plotted profile for left pipe, or left end of line beyond Sta. 29+40. Therefore placed a new cap on right pipe, drew it down tightly, and assumed it = 100.00 assumed elevation.
Notes on microfilm give range length at 3056 feet, but only 29+626 found by chaining 3/12/69.
Microfilm notes list elevation 213.53 for left pipe, presumably based on gulf datum, but not verified by any 1940 survey records yet found (3/12/69).
